"Nilspire Me" ... an application for AYAs with cancer
A first rough idea has already been discussed with the sounding board group for AYAs of Kom op tegen Kanker. These people already reacted super positively and they even brought in new ideas, ideas that could make the application even better and more useful.
Vzw SuperNils went looking for a partner, willing to develop such an application together with us. And so we found Casa Callenta, a community centre from Brasschaat-Schoten. They work around the same idea, for the same target group and got on board. KOTK also wants to think along and put its shoulders to the wheel. And then there is Warmest Week 2025, whose theme of 'being invisibly ill' fits in perfectly with the idea. So plenty of food for thought, preliminary research and further dialogue with patients from the target group (AYAs with cancer). Also in function of the GDPR regulations, we will have to test a number of things in advance. After all, the ideas must also be realisable, within the imposed rules!
Developing such an application takes time. Time we are also going to take because we want to provide a quality, secure tool.
