SuperNils LEGO packages

The non-profit association SuperNils provides beautiful LEGO packages, both in the children's ward and among adolescents and young adults. We can achieve this, thanks to the beautiful and valuable sponsorship from LEGO!! The play material is hugely important for our patients because it also has a therapeutic value. Playing and building with the cubes is good for fine motor skills and feeling in the fingers. And, of course, you can use it to clear your mind and think about nothing else for a while.TOP material!

At some hospitals and inpatient centres also have a suitcase full of LEGO bricks (often in the family room), with or without accompanying plans, which patients and their children/relatives can get to work with. One can follow the plan, but also get creative and build one's own work of art. Think of the participants of LEGO masters. So just cases to have fun, get creative and take your mind off things for a while. Be sure to ask!

At all Hospitals/open houses we work with, we provide regular LEGO gift parcels. These are distributed to patients by nursing staff or doctors, especially to those who are in hospital for a long time, those who have to undergo painful treatment or those who are having a very difficult time for a while. Fancy getting busy with LEGO? Then be sure to ask about our gift pack. And if the packets run out, the hospital/open house can request a new supply from us ...

The gift packaging (included with some packages) was made possible thanks to a wonderful collaboration with the employees of the pharmaceutical company. Servierwho, apart from manpower, had also provided a budget for the purchase of packaging and stickers. Big thanks to these great partners!

Thanks Sponsors

Below is an impression of the Patient Awareness Day at Servier in Anderlecht.

On Tuesday 15 October 2024, the international pharmaceutical company and laboratory Servier, based with us in Anderlecht, organised a Patient Awareness Day for their employees.

Twice a year, employees are allowed to get actively involved in a particular association or organisation. This year it was the turn of non-profit organisation SuperNils. The aim of this activity is to make employees aware of who and what they work for every day, get to know organisations that work for patients with cancer, as they too do.

It was a fantastic day, during which employees helped non-profit organisation SuperNils to make LEGO gift boxes. All boxes were packed into bags, arranged by age group and given a nice sticker. Packaging and stickers were provided and paid for by Servier. The LEGO boxes were sponsored by LEGO itself. Soon the gift boxes will be delivered to the partner hospitals and can be distributed to patients.

Now, we'd like to take you to the hard-working Servier crew ...
