Important news items
New statutes were filed
On Wednesday 22 May, the new statutes of our organisation were filed at the Antwerp District Court. Now we are waiting for their approval and final publication in the Belgian Official Gazette. After that, the link to these new statutes will also appear on the website.
A whole process preceded the adoption of the statutes. First, they were discussed at the general membership meeting. Those present approved them, but we were not in numbers to decide. Therefore, a second special general meeting followed. This went through zoom, after which the bylaws could actually be approved.

No new developments to report at the moment. However, the episodes already made can still be listened to via the website and via Spotify.
Project operation
VR project
Currently, developing the VR package is taking up all the time and budgets. Venar, the development company from 's Gravenwezel, already did a wonderful job!
So they created a fun, virtual SuperNils environment (a forest with a waterfall and river, mountains, nice trees, some rest areas, ...). The SuperNils avatar also took shape and can be viewed in the environment. Further work has already been done on the movement game, where patients can fight against their disease (beat confused cells with a padel racket). Work is also under way on the possibility of developing virtual contact between fellow sufferers, and in a large fairy-tale tower people will be able to find information about the disease and treatments. This info will be provided by doctors, professors, dieticians, sexologists, physiotherapists, etc, making sure that we have accurate data.
During the summer holidays, the first concepts can be tested at the UZA. From their experiences and evaluations, the necessary adjustments can then be made.
In the spotlight
Levensloop Schoten 2024
During the weekend of 7 and 8 September 2024, Levensloop Schoten will again take place in the beautiful park of Schoten. Everyone is welcome there from Saturday 3pm to Sunday 3pm. You can enjoy free performances, tasty snacks and drinks and children's entertainment. Of course, there will also be 24 hours of walking on a magnificent trail through the park, which will even be illuminated at night. Of course, you don't have to walk for 24 hours! If you can spare 1 hour for our team, during the day or at night, we will be very happy! Team SuperNils is therefore still looking for a lot of participants. Registration can be done via the link below and costs only 10 euros. Don't hesitate, do it quickly!
