Service club 51 De Dommel - Peer ...
Fifty-One International is a service club founded in Waterloo in the year 1966.
It is the only service club of European, say Belgian, origin. Traditionally, service clubs (Rotary, Lions, Round Table...) have their roots in American society.
Fifty-One's objectives have a threefold purpose:
1. Promote friendship, esteem and tolerance.
2. Hold meetings to develop mutual understanding.
3. Serve by guiding and supporting initiatives/good causes.
On Saturday 30 September 2023, 51 De Dommel organised a big benefit party at the Kleine Brogel Air Base. The proceeds of that evening went to 4 charities. Vzw SuperNils was one of them. We received a cheque of € 2500.00, a very nice donation that will be used for the realisation of our interactive packages.
