Training in loss management
Together with our partner, Lost & Co vzw from Lier, we organised a training course on grief and loss, specifically for primary school teachers.
It was a very practical training course, with a wide range of activities and materials. The teachers were able to use these to develop a policy plan on grief and loss.
Loss was viewed in a very broad sense. It refers to both living loss (after receiving a diagnosis, you lose certain things in life) and ordinary loss (the death of a family member, friend or pet).
The training consisted of a training day at AP University College and a follow-up day at the Lost & Co premises in Lier (Gloed).
