The idea ...
A creative way for young people with cancer to connect with their family and friends in a light-hearted, fun way, even if they cannot physically be together (e.g. due to isolation).
Through a LINK, they can open a short video task or challenge. They can then complete the challenge, alone or with others. Sharing may be done via their own social media channel (e.g. whatsapp).
Why?
It provides interaction without any pressure. Moreover, it is easy to keep in touch with the outside world in this way. Furthermore, it offers playful distraction, creative activity and emotional connection. Play can be both warm, funny and creative.
Where ...
The challenge box can be found online on the website of non-profit organisation SuperNils. This way, people can use it anytime and anywhere, whether in hospital or at home. The aim is to create a challenge for every day of the year. But ... that takes time, of course :).
